America’s Credit Unions Podcast
Podcast Production / Audio Editing / Video Editing
The America's Credit Unions Podcast (formerly CUNA News Podcast) is a weekly show that highlights people and stories within the credit union movement. The show has accumulated 680,000 downloads over nearly 400 episodes.
When the show launched in 2016, I began assisting with audio production and editing the episodes. In 2017 I took over as lead producer, working closely with CUNA's editorial team to manage the show's content and guest schedule. As the show grew, we successfully generated advertising revenue by selling sponsored episodes and commercials to vendors in the credit union industry.
In 2022, I hired Yeekeng Yang to fill my previous role of Digital Media Design Specialist. We collaborated to further develop the podcast, using cloud-based recording and editing tools like Riverside and Descript to produce video episodes.
In addition to audio and video production, I created a website for the show, as well as weekly news articles and email newsletters to promote new episodes. I also composed the show's theme music.
